Lakewood's 1st and 10, reopened in Spring 2009, is a sports bar in East Dallas. 1st and 10 has an extensive menu of all the American favorites (we recommend grabbing a burger), a decent beer list and, of course, tons of TVs to catch the game!

If you're looking for a laid back hangout, look no further than the Amsterdam Bar, right near Fair Park. A bit off the beaten path, Amsterdam Bar's amazing beer garden, live jazz Mondays and great happy hour specials make it one of the best places in Dallas to just grab a beer and relax. Plus, their staff is friendly and they've got a selection of board games for the taking - Connect 4, anyone?

Poor David's Pub is a bar and live music venue in South Dallas. With their focus on their performers, Poor David's Pub frequently charges a cover for admission, but you can order take out food and save yourself a couple of bucks on dinner!

Lemon Bar replaces Lazare (RIP, Fallen Soldier) in Dallas's West Village. The upscale restaurant is reborn as a sports bar/gastro pub, with TVs, karaoke and laid-back pub fare.

Rugby House Pub brings a traditional British pub vibe to Plano, Texas. They serve lunch, dinner and a late night menu that focuses on Western European food, paired with a great selection of draught beer.

The Londoner strives to bring an authentic British feel to Uptown. With live televised football, darts and traditional pub food, we recommend you grab a pint, sit back and relax.

The Thomas Avenue Beverage Company (also known as simply, TABC) is a neighorhood pub and sports bar on Thomas Avenue in the Uptown section of Dallas.  TABC is known for it's patio and chill vibe.

St. Pete's Dancing Marlin is a Deep Ellum landmark. Serving lunch and dinner as well as drinks from a full bar, St. Pete's is a great place for dinner for 2 or dinner for 200. Bring your friends and enjoy live music on Fridays and Saturdays - we recommend sitting at the bar, which, according to their website, is the "longest bar in Dallas." That's what she said.

If you don't leave Dallas too often, we recommend you hop the DART to Historic Downtown Plano to sample some of the 100 beers Fillmore Pub offers by the pint or by the bottle. Need another reason? Try authentic British food from fish and chips to Guiness stew. One more reason to visit - happy hour, reverse happy hour AND brunch on weekends.
