Steel is an upscale restaurant on Oak Lawn that serves sushi, or as they call it, Indochine Cuisine. It's got a very cool vibe, great chef and, our personal highlight, a private wine room which houses their extensive collection.

Gezellig is a departure from the typical Lower Greenville bar. They have great live music, a quality beer selection and New York-style sandwiches. And in case you wanted to know, "Gezellig" is a word that Amsterdam locals use to describe a place that has a cool vibe and makes you feel welcome.

Fuse is a classy downtown establishment that features TexAsian food. Wait. TexAsian? If we hadn't already tried it ourselves (several times), we'd be confused too. Trust us, one of their flavored mojitos and some solid beef sushi, and you'll be coming back for more - especially during happy hour.

It's classy, yet comfortable, kind of like an argyle sweater. Plus, Sushi Axiom in Knox Henderson offers some killer happy hours that pair really well with the great atmosphere and fantastic food.

Quite possibly the best bar in Dallas, Victor Tango's in Knox Henderson has delicious top-shelf cocktails to pair with their upscale urban fare. Entertaining and friendly bartenders serve to a trendy crowd.

Sambuca is located in Uptown across from The Ritz and Crescent Hotels. With live music every night, the bands are as diverse as the menu, and an outdoor lounge, this restaurant is not to be missed.
