Dallas Bars Invite You to Make Your Own Bloody Marys
There’s no better way to start your weekend than by reliving those stayed-out-too-late-and-now-it-hurts-to-work weekdays. And while weekend drinking doesn’t always offer the myriad drink specials of weeknights, the consequences are fewer.
Here at Five O’Clock Dallas, we like to start our Saturday (and Sunday) mornings with some brunch and a nice bloody mary, and thankfully, several Dallas bars offer make-your-own bars so you can get it just right.
- Ozona Grill and Bar – While the bartenders at Ozona are certainly capable of making you a tasty bloody mary, the real fun comes when you partake in the do-it-yourself bloody mary bar, available during Saturday and Sunday brunch. Score a spot on the patio, and then take your provided glass of vodka and ice to the make-your-own bar to find all the ingredients you could every want. The rest is up to you, so if you make a bad bloody mary, there’s no one to blame but yourself.
- Blue Goose Cantina – Enjoy one or several make-your-own bloody marys with brunch, served from 11:00am – 3:00pm on Saturdays and Sundays. The fresh Tex-Mex and tasty margaritas will likely keep you eating and drinking long after the bloody mary well runs dry.
- Frankie’s Sports Bar and Grill – Frankie’s offers its make-your-own bloody mary bar Saturdays and Sundays from 11:00am – 4:00pm. And if your hands are still a bit shaky from the night before and you're not up to the task, don’t fret – they’ve also got $2 mimosas.
- Uptown Bar and Grill – Aside from some of the best burgers in town, Uptown Bar and Grill’s make-your-own bloody mary bar is reason enough to stop in. Build your own from 11:00am – 4:00pm Saturdays and Sundays.
Do you know of another do-it-yourself bloody mary spot that’s not listed? Let us know, and we’ll see you there.
