Final Monday Night Pub Tasting at Idle Rich Pub
Cure your post-super bowl hangover this Monday (2/2) at the Idle Rich Pub in Uptown for their final round of Monday Night Pub tastings.
Monday's tasting is called, Hop Heaven, and will feature beers that are both heavily hopped and that showcase particular hop varieties.
"The tastings are informal and self-paced and you can begin any time between 7:00pm and 9:30 pm. The cost is $25 and covers all beer, an individual cheese plate, tasting notes, brewery giveaways and gratuity."
Beers and cheese to be sampled include:
- Czechvar (Czech Republic)- Saaz hops
- Meantime IPA (UK)- Golding and Fuggle hops
- Dogfish Head 60 and 90 IPA (Delaware)- Warrior, Amarillo and "Mystery X" hops
- Stone Ruination (California)- Columbus and Centennial hops, at 105 IBU!
- Fuller's Vintage Ale (UK)- Challenger, Northdown hops
- Chouffe Houblon Dobbelen IPA Tripel (Belgium)- Saaz, Tomahawk and Amarillo hops
Cheeses:
- Cheshire (UK)
- Chevre (France)
- Fromage d'Affinois (France)
- Cotswold
