The Lakewood Trifecta Pub Crawl
In the UK there's this fabulous concept known as the "Pub Crawl". For those who have never been, a pub crawl is simply a night of bar hopping - where you visit as many bars as you can in one night, usually just stopping at each for a single drink.
Luckily, for those of us who happen to live in Lakewood, we have our own version of the pub crawl - the Lakewood Trifecta.
The Lakewood Trifecta involves visiting 3 very different, but very cool bars that are within 100 yards of one another.
First, start at Lakewood's own causal dive bar - Lakewood Landing. Lakewood Landing has a fantastic burger, and a laid back atmosphere, a perfect start to the night!
Second, travel across the street to one of the best Irish pubs in Dallas, The Tipperary Inn. Not only does the Tipperary have a great selection of beers from the UK, but they know how to pour a Guinness right - a rare feat in Northern Texas.
Finally, travel across Live Oak once more to the bar with the multi-colored lights and tasty martinis - Cosmo's. At Cosmo's you'll find a rockin' jukebox, robust selection of VHS tapes (yes, that's right - they kick it old school), and some tasty drinks.
