Restaurant Week Comes to Dallas

Dallas Restaurant Week is one of our favorite times of the year.  During Restaurant Week, more than 100 restaurants will feature three-course prix fixe meals for $35, offering frugal diners a chance to indulge without going into debt.  And beyond hedonistic pleasures, the event serves a great cause, raising funds for the North Texas Food Bank and Lena Pope Home.

Aside from great food, Restaurant Week is also a chance to partake in some tasty signature cocktails and wine pairings.  The drinks aren’t included in the $35 price tag, but one can’t go thirsty when tasked with gorging on three delectable courses.  Of course, if three courses aren’t enough, just spend $25 shopping at Central Market to receive a gift certificate to redeem for a fourth course at select restaurants.

Restaurant Week runs August 17th through August 23rd, but many of the participating restaurants are extending the promotion for an extra week or two, giving diners a good shot at securing reservations at some of their favorite spots.
