A very "zinteresting" wine event!
It's no secret that we here at Five O'Clock Dallas love wine. A lot. (We also love puns.) That's why we get so excited about wine tastings and wine-related happy hours. And now we have another one for you! Not only will you get to taste great wine at this event, but it's all for a good cause!
On May 14, 2009, the Zinfandel Advocates and Producers will team up with The Wine & Food Foundation of Texas for a Zinfandel Grand Tasting, a fanastic tasting of big, bold and beautiful Zinfandel wines. This tasting will feature 40 vintners including Cline (my personal favorite!), Alexander Valley, Haywood, Rosenblum and many, many more. For a full list, just check out the end of this blog post. We'll keep you posted as the event gets closer.
In addition to the wonderful wine, you'll get to munch on food provided by some of Dallas's best chefs. They include: Chef David Bull of Bolla, Chef Anthony Bombaci of Nana, Chef David Uygur of Lola The Restaurant, Chef Sam Dickey of Zymology, and private chef Tre Wilcox. We'll be sure to sample some of Zymology's food - after all, we are big fans!
